I want to be saved…

First, you must realize:

• You are a sinner. (For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23)
• The penalty for sin is death. We all deserve death. (For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23)
• Jesus came to earth as a man and willingly faced death. His death was the payment for our sins. He took our place. (For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16)
• There’s nothing YOU can do to be saved. It is all through Jesus. (For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9)
• Repent, confess & believe.
  • (That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9)
  • (Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19)

Now What?

• You have peace. (Romans 5:1)
• The Holy Spirit lives within you.
• Find a good, Bible-believing church.
• Get baptized.
• GROW in the Lord. Serve him continually.
• You are a new creature in Christ, old things are passed away! (II Cor. 5:17)
